Achieve Results with Skill-Based Interventions
Transitional Mathematics (TransMath) was built on over two decades of research.
TransMath targets instruction to fewer topics in greater depth, so students master key foundational skills before moving on to more complex topics. Three levels in three years prepare students for algebra success.
TransMath:
- Teaches fewer topics in greater depth
- Provides numerous visual representations to help conceptualize the mathematics
- Meets individual student needs
- Provides a logical sequence, ample practice, and an appropriate pace
- Aligns with National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Standards
- Ensures accurate placement and progress monitoring
- Provides a solid alternative to basal curricula
- Supports teachers with ongoing professional development
- Provides a balance between procedural knowledge and conceptual understanding
